Attributiveclause

定语从句:

在复合句中,用来修饰名称或代词的从句被称为定语从句。

被定语从句所修饰的词称为先行词;用来连接定语从句,并在从句中代表先行词的代词称为关系代词。

先行词

who:

关系代词,代替theman,在从句中作主语。

that,who,whom,whose

代物

that,which,whose

备注:

1.that既可以代人也可以代物,在从句中作主语或宾语。

2.在非限制性定语从句中,不能用that.

非限制性定语从句:

主句和从句用逗号分开,从句不能省略。

Eg.ThebookiswrittenbyGuoJimming,whoisonly19yearsold.

SheisveryfondofFrench,whichindeedshespeaksquitewell.

此两句中的who和which不能用that代替。

3.whose(谁的),后面一定要有名词。
