Almosthalfofthe300teacherssurveyedsaidpupilstriedtolooklikeorbehavelikethecelebritiestheymostadmired,withsomegirlsevendressing“unsuitably”.
“Wearenotsurprisedabouttheinfluenceofcelebritycultureinschools—itreflectsthecurrentmediapassionwithcelebritiesandtheeffectofcelebritycultureonsocietyasawhole,”ATLgeneralsecretaryMaryBoustedsaidinastatement.
