特别注意的几点
“when”引导的时间状语从句的句型
①.…was/weredoing…when…（正在做……突然）
②.…was/wereabouttodo…when…（刚要做……突然）
③.…was/wereonthepointofdoing…when…（正要……这时）
④.…had（just）done…when…（刚一……/当……的时候，就已经）
⑤Itwas+时间点+when…（当……的时候，时间是……）
IwaswatchingTVwhenIheardsomeoneknockingatthedoor.
我正在看电视，这时我听到有人在敲门。
Iwasabouttogooutwhenthetelephonerang.我正要出门，这时电话铃响了。

“before”引导的时间状语从句的句型
①……之后……才……②不多久……就……
③不等……就……④刚……就……⑤先……再……
Wehadsailedfourdaysandfournightsbeforewesawland.我们航行了四天四夜才看
到陆地。
Itwasn’tlongbeforehetoldmeabouttheaffair.没过多久他就把这件事告诉了我。
Wehadn’trunamilebeforehefelttired.我们跑了还不到一英里他就累了。
Hehardlyenteredtheroombeforeheheardthetelephonering.他刚进房间就听见电话铃响起来。
Youcanhaveafewdaystothinkaboutitbeforeyoumakeyourdecision.
此事你可以思考几天再作决定。
三个极易混淆的时间状语
从句
①Itwas+时间点+when…（当……的时候时间是）
②Itwas/willbe+时间段+before…（没过……就/过了……才）
③Itis/hasbeen+时间段+since…（自从……以来有……）
Itwas2pmwhenwegothome.我们到家的时候是两点钟。
Itwasbetwoweeksbeforewemeagain.过了两个星期我们有见面了。
Itwillbetwoweeksbeforewemeetagain.要过两个星期我们才能再见面。
Itis/hasbeen3yearssincewelastmet.自从我们上次见面以来已经有三年了。
用法灵活的as,when,
while引导的状语
从句
1.除了引导时间状语从句外，as还可以引导原因，让步，比较，方式等状语从句
①Assheisamodelteacher,shegivesagoodexampletoothers.
因为她是一名模范教师，她给其他人树立了一个好的典范。
②Mu
chasIadmireMr.Wangasapoet,Idon’tlikehimasaman.
尽管我喜欢王先生的诗歌，但我不喜欢他的为人。

2.除了引导时间状语从句外，when还可以引导条件，原因等状语从句
①Howcanweexplainittoyouwhen（=if）youareunwillingtolisten.
（如果）你不愿意听，我怎么对你解释？
②Itwasfoolishofyoutotakeataxiwhen（=since）youcouldeasilywalktherein5minutes.
既然步行五分钟时间就到那儿，你还打的去，真是愚蠢透顶。
3.除了引导时间状语从句外，while还可以让步，条件等状语从句
①While（=Though）Ilikethecolorofthehat,Idon'tlikeitsshape.
尽管我喜欢帽子的颜色，但我不喜欢它的形状。
②While（=Aslongas）thereislifethereishope.只要有生命，就有希望。
是状语从句，还是定语从句，或是强调句（注意划线部分）

2.①Itissuchanadvancedtheorythatfewpeopleunderstandit.（结果状语从句）

1.时间状语从句

when在句中表示“就在这时（突然）……”之意，它构成的固定句式是：
bedoingsth.／beabouttodosth.／haddonesth….when…。
句意：

whenever意为“无论何时”；however意为“然而”；whichever意为“任何一个”；wherever意为“无论哪里”。
连接副词在后句中充当状语，根据语境可知是指时间，选A项。
句意：
请打电话给我的秘书安排今天下午的会议，或者在你任何方便的时候 。
