Mr.Katzmarzykandhiscolleaguesarepartofanewgenerationofresearchersstudyinghowsittingalldayaffectslengthoflife.“Studiesthathaveassessedtherelationshipbetweensittingandmortality(死亡率)ortelevisionviewingandmortalityareveryrare.There’sonlybeenafewofthem,actuallyfiveorsixnow,inthelastfourorfiveyears.”Theyfoundthatcuttingtelevisiontimetolessthantwohoursadaycouldaddonepointfouryearstolife.
