1．这是一首咏美人的诗，为19世纪英国大诗人拜伦（Byron,1788——1824）所作。
拜伦诗才广，作品多，与雪莱同为浪漫主义诗歌的杰出代表。
本诗作于1814年，据说青年拜伦在一次舞会上遇到威尔莫夫人（LadyWilmotHorton），当时夫人身穿丧服，上面缀有闪烁的装饰，犹如繁星。
诗中诗人淋漓尽致地从美人的外表写到内心，抒发了无限爱慕的真情实感。

1814年,拜伦在好友詹姆士.W.韦伯斯特的引荐下,首度到西莫路的家中,见到了美丽的威尔莫特夫人.MrsWilmot到底有多美丽,我们不曾亲眼目睹,但是诗人的作品却留下了他惊艳时的心情.MrsWilmot当天穿着闪亮的长裙,如见天人的拜伦那晚心事忡忡,不苟言语,回到家后,要了一杯白兰地酒,举杯祝表妹身体健康之后,就回房休息了.
