II.Teachingmaterialsanalyzingandrearranging教材分析和重组

1.教材分析

本单元以Holidaysandvacations为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容。

旨在通过单元教学使学生学会从places,activities,weather,food,feelings等方面谈论如stayathome,wenttoNewYorkCity,visitedmyuncle,wenttosummercamp,wenttothemountains,wenttothebeach,visitedmuseums等假日活动,进一步学习过去时态的用法,从而学会谈论过去发生的事。

SectionA部分共设计了9个任务型活动。

1a要求学生读图后将所给7个假日活动与相应图片配对并学习上述7个短语的用法,为下面将要进行的两个活动准备语言材料;1b要求学生听录音并根据所获信息将图片中人物排序,确定各自假日活动内容;1c要求学生在教师指导下,以pair-work的形式确定图中人物假日活动地点,然后组织对话口头练习图片中句型;2a要求学生听录音后根据录音中信息将所给三个人名与其假日活动地点配对。

这一活动既是对1c中活动内容的强化,又是下一个活动的热身训练;2b要求学生听录音并根据其中谈话内容选择表格中问题的答案,进一步确定录音中三人假日活动的地点和内容,为下一个活动提供较为丰富的语言材料;2c要求学生在熟悉上述语言材料的基础上,以小组活动形式分角色进行对话训练,学会谈论假日活动地点及活动项目,从而为接下来的语法学习提供充分的语言材料;3a要求学生用“was”、“were”填空,学习描述人物感受的表达法,为下一活动提供语言准备及热身训练;3b要求学生根据图片中所提供的信息组织对话,学会谈论“假日感受”;4要求学生制作一个假日活动影集,记录自己喜欢的假日活动并跟班内同学进行交流。

SectionB部分共设计了8个任务型活动。

1a要求学生将所给词汇与相应图片配对,学习描述人、物性质状态的形容词;1b要求学生将上一活动中所学词汇归类并完成表格;2a要求学生听一段Vera谈论假日活动的录音并回答问题;2b要求学生再次听录音,填写描述Vera对其假日中活动地点、食物等方面的感受的词汇完成表格;2c要求学生以pair-work形式进行角色表演活动,谈论有关Vera假日活动的情况及感受;3a要求学生阅读Bob的三篇旅行日志并圈或划出其中“good/badthingsaboutvacation”等描述假日生活的句子,为下一个活动———写作练习提供范例;3b要求学生根据文字及图片提示写一篇旅行日志;4要求学生以小组活动形式根据假定的情境组织对话练习,谈论有关假日活动的情况。

SelfCheck部分共设计了3项任务。

1要求学生辨认并复习所学描述假日活动及感受的词汇;2要求学生在自己的词汇表中添加五个新词汇;3要求学生设计并完成有关假日活动的调查问卷,与班内同学讨论最佳度假地点并写一份关于同学们假日活动情况的调查报告。
